You're starting to get me all twisted about this "Ball Chaser" guy. Here I'm trying to make it on talent and brains alone and he's on the CBS Evening News. Not to mention all the relentless self-promoters who mention their books ever fourth syllable. Calm blue ocean; calm blue ocean; calm blue ocean...
Paul,
Your calm thoughts are evidently paying dividends. I ordered "Breaking Balls" the other day and look forward to reading it once it arrives.
His novel, "Breaking Balls", can be ordered on Amazon thru a link on his blog.
As Paul is a tempermental highbrow artiste, above the common trade, I'm compelled to promote him here vigorously, before he cuts off an ear or something.
BTW, did you happen to see the Evening News piece on Zack?
CBS treats Rick Santorum better. Absolutely brutal.
I watched Katie Couric a couple of times and she was annoying me. Bob Schieffer must be silently gloating after all those years sitting behind Dan Rather; then he restores credibility to the CBS Evening News after Rather's downfall; and is replaced by a kewpie doll.
Re: Breaking Balls. Thanks for the purchase and the plug. Bear in mind that I was 26-27 when I wrote it and still the angry young man. There's too much cussin'; a bit of male bonding type lockerroom stuff (but it is about a minor league baseball team, so that's probably apropos). Other than than, I think it turned out pretty good. An honest review(within reason) would be welcome.
Gratuitous profanity? Male, uh, bonding?
Geez Paul. Does this thing come in a plain brown wrapper?
